Filter Thy Fuel
You can look in the bottom of any gas can to get an idea of the amount of trash that makes its way into your carburetor or fuel-injection system. It only takes a minute to clog a jet, leaving your machine starving for fuel every time you hit the throttle. An inexpensive way to prevent this from ruining your day is by installing an inline fuel filter between the petcock and the carburetor.
