Any help is greatly appreciated. 1. Use premium gas 2. Change out the spark plug to a (NGK) NGK D8EA (cost: $4) do I need to adjust the gap? .02 - 025? ? is their another brand that is better and what model number? 3. Change the oil and use a synthetic oil (cost: $20) ? any suggestions on the best brand? 4. locktight all nuts (cost $15) are their any problems doing this? should I use a torque wrench on the nuts and if so at what torque? 5. New Chain (428H KMC with 3/4 inch max play) (cost: $15) ? I noticed the max *** is 150 for this chain. Since this will be a 250 CC , do I need to consider a different chain? 118 or 120 link? The 520H chain is for a 400cc max ATV so is this a better choice and will it work? ? what is the best chain to consider brand and model? 6. Change the front sprocket to a 13 or 14 tooth (13 tooth front JTF259 sprocket) (cost: $10) a. should you also change out the rear sproket at the same time to ensure a quality sprocket? or is this not needed? Is this a simple replacement? would it help reduce chance of chain comming off? b. if the bolts touch the chain with the 13 tooth, doesn't this cause problems later on? should I go with a 14 tooth instead or is the 14 tooth too little of a change from the current 15 tooth that comes with the ATV. c. also is a chain tensioner recommended and if so what brandand model. 7. Any other suggestions I missed? Do I need a back up battery (if so what brand and model) When I need to replace the tires will any 8" brand tire work? Can you change them out to 10" tires or does this cause other problems? anyone know of a good swing arm bushing that will fit? should I get a set of nuts to keep on hand incase I loose one out on the trail? I know this sounds like a little bit of work but I'm hopeing to to be able to do about $100 in upgrades and have a pretty good reliable ATV. I bought a set of new take-off aluminum rims from an '07 Sportsman. They line up perfectly but the lugs are a bit short. I can only get about one and a half turns with the new lug nuts. So, I ordered the longer lug nuts for these aluminum rims but what I want to find out is that how difficult is it to change out these lug nuts? What do I have to take apart in order to replace these? Situation: Originally wouldnt start after being submerged in water and mud, buddies son ran it into the creek. I myself am partial electrician but don't deal to much with ATV's, should be pretty easy since their isn't any real wiring, however i gutted everything pulled the engine, cleaned magneto and coils, CDI, Rectifier, Starter, Carbeurator, everything has been pulled and examined for damage even remote control box; ran continuity checks;good to go; but to my dismay i failed to remember to take pictures or do a diagram first of the wiring harness. The only diagrams i can find on the net so far totally do not match the color coding for the wires, and all plugs are generic with exact same male and female connections minus the engine and coil harness. QUESTION: where can i get a wiring diagram for this monster, all i have is the certificate of origin (registration) model is TTA110 2007 4.7HP ZHE JIANG TAOTAO Industry *** LTD.; IF IT IS POSSIBLE CAN WE GET AN OWNER OF A TTA110 TO POST PICS OF THEIR TAO TAO WITH CONNECTIONS UP CLOSE for visual reference. Both tau tau model atv's. One is a ata-150a and the other a ata250D. Both have the same swing arm bushings. What I want to know is, are there any aftermarket swing arm bushings I can use on these. I can only find the whole swing arm's but not the bushings seperately. I thought about looking for polyurethane bushings sold by size. any insight will be helpful. Thanks

I'm new and read a lot of stuff on this site and it helped. I have a 04 yfz 450 that I just finished putting back together. the rod went out and I had to replace everything even the case. it has a hot rod stroker crank, Athena big bore kit 98mm piston , port & polished head , kibble white valves & Curtis sparks full exhaust. fires right up and idles fine run good. so I took it down the road got back let it cool down and there is no oil left in the reservoir it is all in the crank case. the crank case is full of oil if you open the timing mark spot oil starts coming out of it. I have taken the screen out of the bottom of the reservoir and cleaned it already no luck there either. any help please
