If you're looking for a mellow cruising machine that can carry the family from point A to point B and look sporty while doing it, then this machine is perfect for you. I don't feel the RZR 4 has that adrenaline-pumping performance that gets portrayed in the video on the website, but I'm not going to say it doesn't have the potential either. The interior is comfortable for adults to enjoy, the suspension handles very well for what it is, but to me the power leaves more to be desired. This could possibly be remedied with exhaust and intake modifications to get more torque out of the engine along with a few clutch adjustments in the way of spring and roller changes.
Overall, I feel that Polaris has come out with a good machine that will meet the demands of the public. With some minor changes and modifications, I think most owners could make the RZR 4 perform to their expectations and beyond. I know I look forward to taking on that task myself and sharing the results in a future issue.
