More than any other company, it seems as if Acerbis reinvents its gear each year. A couple of years ago, it was big, clear, rubber logos on the pant legs; last year it was fades between the colors (which a few companies copied for this year). This year it's sand--a color combo that doesn't go with your quad but rather with your environment (if you ride out West, that is). The Impact gear (glove, $32.95; jacket, $149.95; jersey, $38.95; pant, $129.95) feels more substantial than ever and, as usual, has a number of unique touches: a rubber logo on the jersey, silver faux-leather panels on the hips and lower back and real suede inside the knees.
