If you've ever been a passenger in a Rhino, you know that when the going gets rough, there isn't a whole lot to hold onto, and while the passenger handle-and-strap combo on the newer Rhinos is decent, it feels a little awkward to use and just isn't as nice as a T-shaped grab handle. The guys at Progressive Suspension have created a great solution with their bolt-on Rhino Grab Handle.

The grab handle attaches to your Rhino's cage using existing mount points and a beefy pipe clamp. Our unit bolted up perfectly, and when it was all tightened down, the all-steel grab bar was very sturdy and felt like part of the frame. The grab bar is also coated to match the factory black paint, a nice touch for those of us who aren't going for that over-the-top gaudy look.

The grab handle has about 6 inches of adjustability and locks into place with a removable pin. The adjustment range seemed to be adequate for most riders, though we wished it would extend out a little further for younger children or very small riders. The included grips were comfortable and good quality. Overall, the Progressive Suspension grab bar is one of the products that just looks and feels like it could have-and maybe should have-come with the Rhino right off the assembly line.

After just one ride with the new grab handle we knew it was never coming off. It was great when bracing for impact or just keeping your upper body in the cab when railing around a turn. It retails for about $99 and is a solid investment if you're always bringing a second person along for excursions. It makes rides in the Rhino instantly more comfortable and thus more enjoyable as a passenger. We found it to be an especially wise investment if your passenger happens to be a wife or girlfriend, as their level of comfort may be in direct relation with how long you get to ride.
