Motion Pro 90-Degree 1/4-Inch Hex Driver
I love to work on my ATV, and I'm a stickler for having all the proper tools to make the job go smoothly. Working on your own ATV can be an educational and rewarding experience because once you discover the cause of your troubles, you'll often find that you have just accomplished the most difficult part of the repair. Having the right tools can greatly simplify an otherwise tedious project and leave the skinned knuckles to the rookies. The real gratification is when you have completed the repair and the hard-earned money that would've otherwise been forked over to a repair shop remains in your wallet.
I recently added a free-flowing air filter that required a larger jet/needle combo to a friend's 400EX. I quickly discovered that adjusting the carburetor's air-fuel mixture screw without the proper tool was going to be very difficult. It needed a special D-shaped tool that I'd never seen before. After asking around, we found that there was a specific tool that's designed to hold several different tips, allowing fuel adjustments to be easily made on many different quads.
The guys at Motion Pro have designed this ingenious tool that helped relieve some unwelcomed stress in my shop. It's called the 90-degree 1/4-inch hex driver. It has six bits of varying shapes and sizes that will work on most carburetors. What a lifesaver. It comes in its own storage tube and the bits are stored in a separate tube as well. The bits are all equipped with a spring-loaded ball in the end that firmly holds it into the driver. It even has a 1/4-inch drive tip for small sockets, and any 6mm bit from your toolbox can be used. If you get too rough with the tool and just happen to break the gears on the end of the driver, a replacement can also be purchased through Motion Pro. There's an incremental sticker on the handle that allows you to fine-tune the adjustments one click at a time. This is my must-have tool that has been used over and over again, leaving me with a big smile on my face! Grab this one for only $89.95. -Rick Sosebee

Ogio ATV Rack Bags
As an ATV photographer and videographer, I've had the chance to test out a myriad of boxes and bags for ATV racks; some good, some not so good and some that have their straps shear off, sending $6000 worth of camera gear flying off the back of an ATV. But I digress. Recently I had the pleasure of testing Ogio's new set of ATV rack bags. I've used other bags and luggage from Ogio and have always been impressed with their quality construction and attention to detail; these new bags are no exception. The Ogio ATV Rack Bags are well thought out and feature the best packed rack bags I've ever used.
The front bag measures 6.5 inches by 29 inches by 13.5 inches and has a 2500 cubic inch capacity. The interior features removable divider partitions and enough mesh pouches to keep most obsessive-compulsive packers satisfied. The removable water bottle holders even have cooler-bag-like insulation to help keep your water cold. I can't tell you how many times I've stuck a nicely chilled water bottle in a holder, only to find it blazing hot the next time I go for a drink; little touches like that are what make these bags great. The front bag (priced at $130) also features a trick map holder on its lid that extends so you can take a glance at the map without getting off your seat. Also on top is a bungee strap to hold down a jacket, rain slicker or any other clothing you've decided to shed during your ride... I won't ask.
The rear bag measures 11 inches by 33.5 inches by 12 inches and can carry 4422 cubic inches worth of your gear. Just like the front bag, it also has removable dividers, mesh pockets and a bungee strap on the lid. The rear bag (priced at $180) has Ogio's Tool Gutter, an easy-access zippered tool compartment on the back of the bag. The rear bag has water bottle holders just like the front, but it also includes two accessory wet/dry cooler compartments which are basically two big cooler lunch bags you can strap on to store your grub out on the trail. Also included is a removable padded backrest or seat to give you a little more cushion on that long ride back to camp.
Both of the bags fold flat for compact storage and have a carrying handle for easy transport when they're off of your ATV. The front and rear bags also feature oversize buckles, D-rings for tiedown attachments and reflective logos. Both bags attach to your rack using nine heavy-duty hook-and-loop straps, making sure they stay secure and not fly off the back.
It was pretty hard to find anything wrong with these bags. The materials and construction are top-notch and look like they could handle a lot more abuse than I could dish out. I really like all the different pockets and zippered compartments to keep my camping and photo gear all separated and organized (yes, I am one of those obsessive-compulsive packers). I also like the fact that the bags have a semi-rigid structure. They won't deform when you load gear on top and give your fragile items another measure of protection. What I like best about this bag system is how you can customize it to make it your own. Need to store a tent bag in the front? Take the divider out. Not taking a lunch? Unstrap the cooler bags. Ain't no sissy? Take off the seat pad. All of these options allow you to change the bags to fit your gear, not the other way around. -Ray Gauger
