The included tools all function as you would expect for cleaning the puncture and installing the plugs. The plugs are nice and sticky and with the rubber cement, patched up our test holes quite nicely. The kit includes five long plugs, enough to patch 10 punctures according to the manufacturer. My suggestion would be to cut the plugs in half beforehand, that way you aren't assuming you'll have a way to cut them when you're out on the trail. Using the pump, I was able to fill up a rear 20-inch sand tire with four pounds of air in just about a minute. That's not too bad, considering it was at a comfortable pace.
At around $40, the Flat Pack is probably the most expensive repair kit out there. However, you're getting a well-designed kit and the luxury of never having to buy CO2 cartridges again. While I can't wholeheartedly recommend it for sport riders due to its relative size, the Flat Pack is a well-built and functional package that has everything you need to handle your next flat like a pro. -Ray Gauger

Tusk Off-Road Winch Accessory Kit
Just like any other big purchase, your ATV's winch is going to need some accessories to make the most of it. You could go to your local off-road store, pick up all the items and stuff them in an old duffle bag, but believe it or not, there's a better way. Rocky Mountain ATV offers a winch accessory kit that has just about everything you'll need to winch safe and smart.
The kit is manufactured by Tusk Off-Road and includes a snatch block, two clevises, a long 96-by-1-inch nylon strap that's adjustable thanks to four loops sewn in the strap, a shorter 24-by-1-inch strap with a single loop on each end and a pair of leather gloves. The snatch block can be used to basically double your winch's pulling power. Simply put the snatch block on your anchor (tree, buddy's ATV, etc.) then run your cable through the block back to your ATV and you'll have a 2:1 mechanical advantage. This allows you to pull heavier loads for a longer period of time while still putting less stress on your winch. The snatch block also allows you to pull at sharp angles, allowing the cable to be drawn straight into the winch, extending the life of both the winch and the cable. However, the snatch block in this kit cannot be used with synthetic cables. The clevises will allow you to make various connections between the snatch block, nylon straps and other ATVs. The nylon straps can be used when anchoring a tree, another vehicle or any place without a good hook location. The gloves are self-explanatory and should be used anytime you're handling the winch cable.
One of the best features of this kit is the trick nylon pack it's all contained in. The pack has adjustable mounting straps and rigid foam backing so you can strap it to your rack without fear of its contents damaging your ATV. The interior is divided with labeled compartments for each of the accessories. It even has a couple of extra compartments for your winch remote or various accessories you pick up. The bag is well constructed and has handled the abuse we've dished out and looks like it could survive years of wear.
