Mother Nature doesn't always work with our schedule, and more often than not, I seem to find myself miles from shelter when the cold rain sets in. This can be a problem when transporting electronics or anything else you plan to keep dry on your adventures. The QB rack bags keep the elements outside where they belong with their sturdy rubberized shell, which completely covers a heavy-duty oversize zipper. Working in conjunction with the weatherproof outer layer is a sealed coolerlike interior providing an additional layer of protection. Unfortunately, neither the front nor rear bag includes touch-screen navigation, but there's an easily viewed transparent compartment that can hold a trail map or other necessary credentials while keeping them dry.
The QB bag wouldn't be called a bag without a handle to haul it around when it's not attached to the machine. Besides being an excellent addition to my ATV, this handy Weather-All bag can be used as a travel bag that serves a dual purpose as I strap it down to an ATV when I arrive at my destination. With a price tag of $99.99 for the front bag and $119.99 for the rear, I have no doubt that the QB Weather-All are worth their weight in gold. Especially when you have dry clothing or moisture-free electronics after a storm has passed. For an additional $5, the bags are available in a mossy oak camo pattern for avid nature lovers and hunters. -Mike Newsom

Pioneer Outdoor Products Flat Pack Tire Repair Kit
Sooner or later, you're going to have to deal with a flat tire, there's no getting around it. If you're prepared, it could only be a minor hiccup in your ride. If not, you could be limping your quad back to camp, tail tucked firmly between the rear tires. The Flat Pack from Pioneer Outdoor Products is a great way to be prepared for such an occasion.
The Flat Pack, available at Rocky Mountain ATV, includes all of the elements you would expect to find in a tire repair kit: tire plugs, rubber cement, a rasp for cleaning and roughing the puncture and a tool for inserting the plugs. However, the way you air the tires back up is what sets this system apart; the pack itself doubles as a hand-operated air pump. This is a great feature because you now have a virtually unlimited source of air...limited only by your will power to keep pumping, of course.
The alternative in most other kits is compressed air (CO2) cartridges, which have their downsides. In order to use them you need some sort of filling tube or nozzle. Some of these nozzles can be a little finicky and you could end up dusting off your rims with most of your air on the first couple of tries. Plus, you have a limited amount of air, and in most cases, you'll need two or more cartridges to fill an ATV tire, so you better hope you didn't waste too many figuring out the filler nozzle. Lastly, you'll also have to remember to replenish your supply after each repair.
The Flat Pack is compact enough to be stored in most UTV glove boxes or ATV storage compartments. It can also be strapped to your quad's frame or utility rack. It may be a little bulky for sport ATV riders; the only places to mount it would be behind the front bumper or somewhere on the subframe if you have the space. In that situation, a compact CO2 repair kit may be a more practical choice.
