New Lenox, Ill. (June 8, 2012) Mike Edge had never won a contest, nor did he typically enter online giveaways. The 40-year-old technical support worker had always wanted an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), so he clicked on a Facebook ad that caught his attention last winter and “liked” Muck Boots and Yamaha for a chance to win a new Yamaha Grizzly 550 FI EPS 4x4 ATV, valued at more than $8,500.
Several months passed, and Edge was shocked when he recently received a call from Muck Boots informing him that his name had been randomly selected from more than 4,000 as winner of the Great Grizzly ATV Giveaway.
“I was excited beyond words,” Edge recalls. “I’ve wanted an ATV since I was a teenager, but never splurged on one. I thought it looked cool, so I entered my name, but I never thought I’d win.”
Edge selected a camouflage version of the Yamaha Grizzly 550 FI with Electric Power Steering, which is assembled in the U.S.A. at Yamaha’s factory in Georgia.
“From the moment I started this powerhouse up, I knew I’d have good times ahead,” Edge said. “It rides great. Who wouldn’t love power steering on a vehicle of this class?”
Muck Boots will introduce a new boot style, the Terrain, designed for ATV riders, this September.
