As part of its sponsorship, Coleman will be inviting families across the nation to get outside during the annual camping-focused event on June 23, 2012.
Great American Backyard Campout is part of National Wildlife Federation's "Be Out There" movement, which is designed to provide tools that inspire parents and children to spend time in the outdoors.
