Romain Couprie will defend his title
Romain Couprie, the Yamaha official rider, winner of the 25th edition of the « 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux”, will enter the Mondial of the quad on next August. He’s Joel Bontoux’ true successor (5 times winners of the Mondial and today team manager at the 12 Hours for Yamaha Motor France), at 27 the French has an excellent track record, 7 times crowned at the French championships, 3 European titles, 5 “Touquet” and 3 victories in the meadow of Ain.
Although his teammates are still unknown for the moment, it’s sure that the rider from the Charentes will try to hit his 4th victory at Pont de Vaux and the 20th for Yamaha.

Jérémie Warnia will take part to PDV
Jérémie Warnia the Can-Am official rider of the US team Motorworks, after his victory at le Touquet last February 4th, informs on his site (jw62.com) that next Summer he will enter Pont de Vaux. After 3 years spent in the USA, with a wealth of experience behind him at 25, “Jey” with US 2011 title, will be back this year in Europa. In his schedule for 2012 (The Elite French championship and European Quad Cross Championship), he will fight for the victory with Josh Frederick. Both reached the 2nd place 2010. They will be Romain Couprie’s number one challengers.
The ever charming Shirley Poglio
Once again the pretty Shirley Poglio will fight against hordes of men. The rider from Annecy, one of the most glam quad girls of the world will be with two other riders from across the Atlantic.
Among the others girls (33 in 2011 at Pont de Vaux, split up into 11 teams), the team “Girls Attack” Séverine Astier, Amandine Dorey (10th at the Endurance French championship of Antagnac, first lady) and Christelle Tarillon will try in 2012 to go better than the Willmann sisters. The three glam girls will present the Kawasaki KFX at the Mille Roues in Villefranche sur Saône on March 16, 17 and 18.
