The Northern Mono Chamber of Commerce will host the “Eastern Sierra ATV & UTV Jamboree” in Mono County’s Antelope Valley, home to Walker, Coleville and Topaz on June 12 – 16, 2012.
“Our Jamboree has had great success these last four years with the 2011 Jamboree being our biggest and best so far! With a capacity of 200 riders, our Jamboree is just the right size for those that don’t want to be just another rider, but to be a participant!”, said Pam Hamic, President of the Northern Mono Chamber of Commerce.
June is the best time of year when it’s not too hot nor too cold. The wild flowers are typically in bloom and to see carpets of wildflowers is quite an amazing site. With literally hundreds of miles of OHV trails to ride in the Eastern Sierra, Mono County’s Antelope Valley is the natural location for riders from all over the US and abroad to assemble for the Fifth Annual ATV & UTV Jamboree.
“Walker/Coleville is a great venue for an event like this. One can go from 5000 feet to almost 12,000 feet of elevation in about 30 minutes with views, sights and sounds that most city folks never get to experience”, said Tim Fesko, Jamboree ride coordinator.
New for 2012, riders can now choose between 3 or 4 guided trail rides. Riders will experience high mountain deserts, forests home to beautiful Pinion and Jeffery Pines, Aspen lined meadows and streams, high mountain lakes, on-the-trail BBQ lunches and so much more.
The Jamboree provides something for everyone, guided trail rides, a full breakfast each morning, BBQ Lunches, an outdoor rodeo, and a great dinner to finish off a great event!
Walker/Coleville/Topaz is home to several motels and RV parks, restaurants and well stocked convenience stores. “We are a small, friendly valley. We have just what you need to make your visit comfortable without all the traffic and noise", declared Pam Hamic.
The mission of the Northern Mono Chamber of Commerce is to promote the business and economic interests of the Eastern Sierra Antelope Valley, Mono County. They invite you to be their guest so they may share with you, the majestic wonder of the Eastern Sierras.
