Bill Ballance and his Yamaha sponsored GNCC/GNC Team have done extensive winter testing on Yamaha's 2011 YFZ 450R in both MX and XC trim.
After the testing, 9-Time GNCC Champion Bill Ballance offered the following "Since the new fuel injected Yamaha YFZ R came out, I have tested all the piggyback and stand alone ECU's there is on the market. Not a single one has offered the performance that I have found in the new Vortex X10 ECU, not to mention how easy it is to use!! In the first day we had better performance than all the others (we had spent over a year programming and testing with)".

Team Ballance/Yamaha will be using Vortex X10 ECU's for 2011 season.
