This renowned expo, being held at the Reliant Center, will offer off-road and outdoor enthusiasts the chance to get on a brand new 2007-model KYMCO ATV to have the ultimate off-road experience in the outdoor KYMCO demo area. Additionally, this off-road lovers' paradise, being held in conjunction with the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show, will showcase all the latest and hottest off-road toys, technologies, gear and accessories from the industry's leading manufacturers, dealers and distributors.
"The 2006 Off-Road Expo promises to thrill the thousands of off-roaders in Texas and perhaps even make some new ones with an exciting KYMCO ATV demo area, giving attendees an interactive experience and getting them up close with KYMCO ATVs," said Advanstar's Off-Road Group Director Jim Ryan. "The expo is the best place in the country for off-road lovers to see the hottest new vehicles and get together with others that share their passion for the off-road."
The 10,000 square foot demo area will include a dirt track where attendees can get on a 2007 KYMCO sport or utility model such as the Mongoose 300, MXU300 for adults and Mongoose 90 for youth. KYMCO representatives will be on hand to familiarize new riders with their ATVs, their handling and answer questions. Additionally, helmets, gloves and protective gear will be provided for all riders.
"We are excited to be bringing the KYMCO ATV experience in our demo area to the growing number of off-road enthusiasts in Houston and give them the opportunity to learn about all our exciting new ATVs and have some fun," said KYMCO Marketing and Communications Manager Rick Pawelka. "ATVs appear to be one of the most popular types of off-road vehicles, according the Motorcycle Industry Council, they account for more than 70 percent of all off-road vehicles in the U.S. and off-road vehicle sales and this test ride will give consumers the rare chance to try our ATVs before they buy."
In addition to the exciting KYMCO ATV demo experience, off-road enthusiasts will be able to view first-hand all the new 4x4s, Baja prerunners, ATVs, dirt bikes, rock crawlers, Jeeps and more on display from the 40-plus exhibitors at Off-Road Expo. Off-road die-hards in attendance will also be able to shop for new toys the whole family can use, enjoy the BOSS 'Ball of Steel' Stunt Show and 'Motocross America - The Tour' display (in the International Motorcycle Show) and take advantage of some great show discounts. Off-road manufacturers, dealers and distributors - such as Banks Power, Dirt Alliance, Skyjacker Suspensions, Toyota and many more will also be on site to demonstrate and educate attendees on all the newest vehicles and accessories.
The Houston Off-Road Expo will take place Friday, November 10, from 4 - 9 p.m., Saturday, November 11 from 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. and culminate Sunday, November 12, from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Held at the Reliant Center, located at One Reliant Park, Houston, TX 77054, admission to the event is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 11 and under children 5 are free.
