John "Ironman" Natalie was back in action at Florida's Gatorback MX Park putting his East Coast ATV/Honda TRX450R to the test. He dominated by pulling holeshots in both motos and was virtually unchallenged all weekend. Natalie wrapped up the weekend 1-1 while current Champion Doug Gust struggled to gain a 2nd overall. The big news at round 3 was Travis Spader pulling off a huge 3rd place overall. Spader gave a solid run and is proving to have what it takes to run up top in 2005. Team Suzuki's Jeremiah Jones managed to grab 4th overall after a bad start in moto 2 but gave it all he had to salvage the unfortunate mishap.
This season is turning out to be much more exciting than race fans ever could have imagined. Each round has resulted in a different winner and a mix of racers gaining podium positions. The race action is just getting heated up and we cannot wait to see how things unravel over the next few rounds. From here, the ATV National Series heads to Macon, GA on April 2nd and 3rd.
