Orlando, Florida, March 8, 2004 - Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP) has launched the all new Sea Doo® 3D™, the first and only multiple experience personal watercraft (PWC). The Sea Doo 3D combines three unique riding experiences in one watercraft by making simple quick configuration changes.
"The Sea-Doo 3D is the most significant development in personal watercraft since the first sit-down watercraft," said Jose Boisjoli, President and Chief Executive Officer, BRP. "This product is set to reinvent the personal watercraft industry. It is yet another example of game-changing BRP innovation," he added.
The Sea-Doo 3D PWC is just the latest in a string of products BRP has introduced to shake up existing industries. In snowmobiles, the Ski Doo® REV™ platform is revolutionizing the way people ride with its 'rider-forward' design. BRP was also first to introduce a line of ATVs specifically designed for two riders, the Bombardier* MAX series of ATVs.
The Sea-Doo 3D is the first personal watercraft to offer different riding positions within one unit. These three experiences include the "Vert Experience," which lets the rider stand vertically while riding; the "Moto Experience," which offers the rider a motorcycle experience on the water; and the "Kart Experience," which puts the rider behind the wheel in a kart driving mode. Each experience is vastly different from the other, allowing the rider to change positions multiple times during a day on the water.
