Huntington Beach, CA - August 18, 2010 - Whether you're an off-road enthusiast or not, come out and join the Beehive Sports Bar raise money for the victims of the MDR California 200. Meet the off-road desert racing community. See the support and passion each carry for the sport and their peers as they help others in these times of need. Race vehicles will be on display in front of the Beehive, located off of Edinger and Edwards in Huntington Beach, CA. All proceeds will go to Fast Aid, a non-profit organization which opened an account specifically set up to assist the victims and families of California 200. The Beehive Fundraiser is from 12pm - 10pm on Saturday, August 28th. The desert is a place we go to enjoy with family and friends; now let us help our desert family at this time. Any and all donations welcome.

About Beehive Sports Bar & Race Team
The Beehive Sports Bar is owned and operated by Lorrie Tonelli. Lorrie sponsors her nephew Nick's off-road race truck and is very involved in the off-road desert racing community sponsoring many other off-road race vehicles. Lorrie and the Tonelli family have participated in the PowderPuff, Race For The Cure since its beginning in 2006. The PowderPuff is a M.O.R.E. sanctioned charity race that raises money for the Cedar Sinai Ladies Breast Cancer Research Institute. The Beehive Race Team has become a part of many charity off-road events like the PowerPuff race, Toys for Tots and others.
