Eli's Rant
Dedication? What is it? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary there are a few definitions, but one clearly pertains to the staff of ATVR.
Ded-I-Ca-Tion: Self-Sacrificing Devotion I've been with this magazine for just over two years now and feel that this is the best job I've ever had. I've worked at some great places over the years that have given me tremendous knowledge to advance where I am now, but none have given me the experiences or opportunities that I have had in my time here at ATVR. I've also been given the opportunity to work with some of the mostdedicated people this sport or industry has to offer.
From long days in 100-degree temperatures and high humidity to running around a GNCC or MX track trying to get that one perfect shot for you to see as you turn the pages of this magazine. We also spend long hours in front of computer screens, typing stories at the office and even take work home to make sure it gets done right and in a timely manner to deliver to you the perfect story. We dedicate ourselves to this magazine because it's not just a job for us, but it's our passion. Thad, Mike, Jorge, Rick and all our contributing editors and I have been around ATVs for years as a hobby, but are now lucky enough to call it work.
Over the course of a year, we spend weeks away from our friends and family to bring you the latest and greatest in the world of everything ATV and SxS. We lose countless hours of sleep making sure that what we deliver is the absolute best so you feel your hard-earned money is spent on something worthwhile. The paycheck we get pays our bills, but it's the compliments from our readers that make our job truly satisfying. In these tough economic times, we appreciate your supporting our magazine and advertisers because without them we wouldn't be here. Without you, we wouldn't have a job.
There are some people who like to think they're the only dedicated ones in this industry, but in our field of work I feel that we should all be dedicated to what we do. And I think many people are this way-our team included. While we're not making millions of dollars, we do wake up every morning and are able to tell people that our job involves something that we love to do. Thank you for your continued support and compliments.

PitsterPro FXR 150R, 125R And 90R Mini Race ATVs
If you're in the market for a high-performance four-stroke mini ATV racer, then consider the new FXR series of mini ATVs by PitsterPro. The FXR is available with three different four-stroke engine packages that range from 90cc to the extremely powerful 150cc. To complement the power of the different engines, PitsterPro went to James Giddings of Giddings Machine Racing (GMR) to develop a long-travel chassis to maximize the FXR's handling. Thanks to GMR, the chassis was built to meet specifications of both AMA and GNCC racing circuits and features dual A-arm front suspension and a long-travel rear swingarm that are all mated to piggyback reservoir shocks with preload, compression and rebound adjustments. With prices starting at $3395 and up these machines could very well be worth your money. For more information on the FXR line of mini ATVs, visit www.pitsterpro.com and look for a full review on the FXR 125 in the next issue of ATV Rider Magazine.
