Several weeks back, we released a host of new 2010 models and revisions from Arctic Cat at www.atvrideronline.com. This week, we've got the rest of the information and we've got to admit, there are some pretty exciting things coming from the Arctic Cat camp for 2010. Below is a quick guide to what's new.
. Arctic Cat has powered up the Utility 4x2 with a new 300 motor.
. They have built an entirely new 450 H1 engine that is built and designed by Arctic Cat.
. The 450, 550, and 650 H1 Utilities have been revised with new, narrower bodywork.
. The TRV Cruiser line (700 & 1000) continue to be refined as the only kings of comfort and performance in the two-up industry.
. Every full-sized ATV now has a brand new all-encompassed, differential 4x4 lock switch on the right-side handlebar.
. And they have added two new Mud Pros to the largest growing segment: the race-proven Mud Pro 1000 with a new 58" performance chassis as well as the race-derived, value-priced Mud Pro 650 H1.
4X2 300 UTILITY & DVX 300
Last year, the 300 DVX was introduced with a larger 300motor, now the popular 4x2 gets a boost in engine performance with the same power plant. Both the 300 DVX and new300 4x2 still pack a whole lot of bang for your dollar. The potent engine in both models is a 270cc, SOHC, liquid cooled, single-cylinder mill with backup fan for consistent cooling. Power is fed through a fully automatic CVT transmission with Hi, Low (4x2), Forward and Reverse. Single hand and foot operated hydraulic disc brakes provide positive, self-cleaning stopping power in all conditions with zero adjustment.
The 4x2 has "Cat Eye" headlights and bold grille bodywork resemble that of the big-bore ATVs, while a digital instrument pod displays speedometer, odometer, trip meter, digital clock, coolant temperature, fuel gauge and indicator lights for neutral, reverse and high beam lights. Functional racks have a 50 lb. front capacity and 100 lb. rear rack capacity. DVX headlights and sport bodywork adorn the DVX 300 while removable fenders add customizing options or quick removal for racing. Aluminum wheels wrapped in 21x7-10 front and 20x11-9 rear tires with 7.25" of ground clearance round out a potent little package on the trails and track.
