TireExpress.com launched its innovative new motorcycle tire online shopping site to coincide with the New Year. Tire Express's first site was launched in 1999 as a spin off from parent company Competition Accessories.
While the site has gone through several minor revisions over the years, this marks he launch of its first comprehensive redesign in 8 years.
"We talked to over a thousand customers in the early stages of this redesign to confirm what they felt would be important features for on-line tire shopping " said Jamie Conetta, Tire Express Marketing Director. "The number one desire mentioned was of course low prices, followed by fast delivery. But also highly mentioned was ease of shopping... they wanted to be able to find their sizes quickly, and find preferred brands as well as alternatives without clicking through a lot of online pages and other items like jackets and helmets."
To attain this environment, Tire Express allows the shopper to enter their desired tire size immediately upon opening the site using the Quick Tire Finder. Then the site displays all available brands and models of that size. The customer can sort these items by price or brand with the click of a button to make selection easier. Tire stock availability is posted next to each item in the shopping cart so the customer can determine availability and delivery times. There are also links from each product page to tire specifications, information and the manufacturer's fitment guides.
15 brands of tires are offered including Dunlop, Michelin, Avon, Continental and Shinko. Orders are shipped from the main tire warehouse in Ohio as well as 10 associated warehouses throughout the country. Generally, the closest in stock warehouse to the customer is used to fulfill the order, meaning most customers will get there tires within 2 days using UPS and Fedex Ground service.
TireExpress.com is a subsidiary of CompetitionAccessories.com, a direct merchant of power sports parts, accessories and apparel for over 45 years. Additional Competition Accessories online brands include ATV Supply.com, HelmetExpress.com and Cylebid.com.
