WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (July 6, 2007) -- With just three races left this season, John Natalie, Jr. has moved to within just eight points of WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour SuperQuad Pro 450 Riders' Championship leader Dustin Wimmer.
Natalie (No. 13 Elka, Maxxis/Honda), will celebrate his 32nd birthday tomorrow with the knowlege that his right back in the points chase. Natalie swept both Rounds 6 and 7 at Virginia Motorsports Park, proving he has rebounded from injuries sustained in a crash during practice earlier this year. Wimmer (No. 191 MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) still holds the point, however, going into the next round, scheduled for July 21-22 at Wild Cat Creek MX in Indiana.
In the QuadTerrain Pro Stock points, Jesse West (No. 888 West Racing/Arctic Cat) has moved to just three points behind leader Scott Kilby (No. 207 Warnert Racing/Can-Am).
In the SuperQuad Pro 450 Manufacturers' Championship, Honda edged into Suzuki's lead and now sits just 14 points back. Kawasaki, with strong finishes from its factory duo, moved to third on the board.
Can-Am continues to lead the points in the QuadTerrain Pro Stock manufacturers' chase, but Arctic Cat remains in contention, just 14 points back.
