Dustin Nelson Sustains Leg Injury
LONDON, Ky. (June 17, 2007) -- Dustin Nelson (No. 94 Motoworldracing.com/Yamaha) sustained a leg injury during Sunday's WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour SuperQuad Pro 450 Event at Daniel Boone Motocross Park.
Nelson was treated by the WPSA Safety Team on site and was then transported by air ambulance to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. Nelson was awake and alert after the incident.
More information on Nelson's condition will be issued when it becomes available.
Jason Dunkelberger (No. 19 Lost Creek Cycles/Honda) was involved in a seperate incident on track. He suffered minor injuries, was treated onsite and released.
