Gardnerville, NV - March 1, 2004 - Citing the ATV World's Fair, to be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center, Louisville, KY, October 14-17-2004, as an opportunity to further establish U.S. Suzuki as a leader in the ATV market, Rod Lopusnak, Marketing Manager, motorcycle and ATV, has announced that the Japanese maker of autos, outboards, motorcycles and ATVs, has signed on as title sponsor of the consumer portion of the four day, combined consumer and trade event.
Rick Campbell, publisher of ATV-Industry magazine, producer of the exposition, said during the announcement that "Suzuki has always been a forward thinking, aggressive marketer and the fact that they are the first Japanese-based original equipment manufacturer of ATVs to sign is demonstrative of their leadership. The full name of this unique event now becomes ATV-Industry Magazine's ATV Expo and ATV World's Fair Presented By Suzuki.
ATV-Industry magazine debuted with the February 2002 issue, becoming the only trade journal serving the $10 billion retail revenue producing All Terrain Vehicle industry. Campbell stated, " A market the size of the ATV Industry not only deserves its very own publication, but its very own national trade and consumer show as well. Exhibit space 89% sold out, eight months before the first time event, demonstrates the need for just such an all-inclusive exposition.".
American Suzuki and ATV-Industry magazine will jointly promote the event, by including complimentary information in all advertising and promotion leading up to the event dates. According to Campbell, ATV-Industry Magazine's ATV Expo and ATV World's Fair has established a quarter of a million dollar advertising budget, to promote the event in major markets all across the region. "The added exposure from Suzuki's own efforts will only help to ensure success, by driving thousands more to see what the ATV industry has to offer.".
The timing and location of the Expo are already designed to provide maximum participation by both dealers, for the trade portion, and consumers for the World's Fair portion, according to Campbell. "Being in the heart of ATV country at the beginning of hunting season, shortly after all the OEMs have introduced their 2005 models and only 61 days before Christmas, will provide both dealers and end users the opportunity to not only see what's new, but also make and plan purchases, right on the spot.".
Industry Shopper Publishing, produces the leading trade journal for the motorcycle aftermarket, debuting Motorcycle Industry (MI) magazine in 1980. Following the success of MI, they introduced the only ATV specific trade journal in 2002, ATV Industry magazine, focusing on market trends, new products and ATV specific market segments. In 2003, the company announced the first ever combined ATV trade and consumer show, the ATV EXPO, to be held October 14-17, 2004 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Show details, including an updated layout of the convention center floor and information on attending or reserving booth space, are available on the ATV Industry web site at www.atv-industry.com.
