As part of the 2004 NHL All-Star week of events, the Stanley Cup and Keeper of the Cup will travel across the State of Minnesota aboard a specially-designed Polaris "Indy Frontier Touring" snowmobile to celebrate the start of 2004 NHL All-Star Week in Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Following its arrival in St. Paul, the Stanley Cup will be on display for fans to see up-close and take pictures with at the NHL All-Star FANtasy, Feb. 3 - 7 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.
The National Hockey League invites fans to greet the Stanley Cup along its tour as it travels through cities in Minnesota. A full list of cities, dates and schedule are included on the following page.
Stops in specific cities are dependent upon snow conditions and scheduling. For more information and tour route updates, fans should check the NHL web site at www.nhl.com or the Polaris web site at www.polarisindustries.com.
The festivities celebrating the 2004 NHL All-Star Weekend begin Tuesday, Feb. 3 when the 2004 NHL All-Star FANtasy - the ultimate hockey experience featuring over 30 attractions and exhibits - opens its doors to the public at 4 p.m., CT at Saint Paul RiverCentre. Tickets ($15 for adults, $11 for children, and free for kids under two) are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Wild box office. Tickets ($15 for adults, $11 for children) also may be purchased for the Kellogg's Frosted Flakes/NHL All-Star Practice, which will take place Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m., CT, through Ticketmaster outlets or the Xcel Energy Center box office

11:30pm - 1pm: Nicollet Mall: The Stanley Cup Tour will make one pass in each direction along the length of Nicollet Mall.

3:30pm - 4:00pm: St. Paul: Neil Broten, Roseau native, University of Minnesota star, Stanley Cup winner and former NHL All-Star will lead the Stanley Cup Tour through Saint Paul before arriving at the River Centre. The Tour will start on West 7th St. in Saint Paul and head toward the Xcel Energy Center.
Saint Paul
4:00 pm Saint Paul RiverCentre: Governor Tim Pawlenty will welcome Broten and the Stanley Cup Tour to the Saint Paul River Centre. The Cup will then moved indoors to the NHL All-Star FANtasy where remarks from the Governor and Frank Supovitz, Group Vice President of Events and Entertainment for the NHL, will signal the opening of FANtasy, and the kick-off of the 2004 NHL All-Star Week.
