We've witnessed pro GNCC racer Adam McGill rise up through the ranks in GNCC racing over the last six-plus years as a privateer, factory KTM racer and currently as a factory Can-Am racer, and he never ceases to amaze us on the track and off with his off-the-wall antics. With assurance his responses would entertain, we got down to business and hit him with the questions we all want answers to. His responses hit us like a race-built DS 450's throttle cracked wide open and left us rolling on the ground in pain from all the laughter!
1 When we first met, we knew you as "Kirk." Tell us how you ended up with the name "Adam"? I've always gone by my middle name "Kirk," that is until dad used my first name, "Adam," to sign me up for my first GNCC, and it kinda stuck.
2 Are you a full-time racer, or do you have a day job? Yeah, full-time job is to train at least three hours per day!
3 We've noticed you've made drastic physical improvements over the last few years. What's your big secret? A light dusting of grass with some maple leaf on a sandwich.
4 Sounds tasty! If I wanted to transform myself into a mean, lean racing machine, what advice could you give me, or am I just a lost cause? Well, there would be hope but...nah, there isn't.

That's what I figured. You've earned top-five finishes for the last four years, what's it going to take to bump up to the grand prize finish? Getting Chris Borich lost on the track. Borich likes to follow 'til the last lap, so I just need to lead him down a wrong trail and peace out!6 Where do you currently call home? Across the hall from my parents.
7 Never heard of that town. So why is it that your home state of West Virginia breeds so much ATV talent? It's because we're all brothers and sisters-ha ha. I'd say because of our variety of terrain, we have so many different terrains.
8 Steelers or Eagles? Steelers!
9
Who's been your most difficult competition over the years in GNCC racing? Do I really have to answer that?10 Assuming the answer is Bill Ballance and Chris Borich, if you were stranded on the moon with the two of them and no way back to Earth, what two items would you have with you? My '96 F-150 and my pitbike. No toothpaste.
11 If you ended up building a rocket, who'd you rather pilot you through the tight asteroid fields and back to Earth: Ballance or Borich? I'd let Chris lead, then take over right before we landed and the credit would be mine.
12 If you had a spare grand burning a hole in your pocket, what would you spend it on at this exact second? Airdog fuel pump for my truck.
13
What's your favorite color? Is it yellow or orange? Orllow.14 Ha, great color. Speaking of yellow, how's that new Can-Am ride treating you this season? It's an aphrodisiac every time I go to the track.
15 Apple iPhone or Droid? iPhone.
16 How about the oil spill in the Gulf Coast. How would you clean it up if you were the President? I'd pass that responsibility to Chris Borich and then take credit when it was fixed.
17
What's heavier, a ton of Maxxis tires or a ton of feathers? A ton of ITP tires, you can't fool this boy.18 If you were the judge, would you sentence Lindsey Lohan to six weeks in jail or a date with you? A date with me!
19 This has been one of our most popular questions and we're not letting you off the hook. What do you do if you need to pee in the middle of a race? I've tried to pee my pants, but I can't do it. I have to stop the bike, get off of it and pee. (Editor's Note: We just figured out the key to McGill's first championship: No more pee breaks.)
20 Tell us about your latest Facebook profile picture. What's the deal with that? Well, to be precise, I was going Mach 5 around a sandy embankment, while clicking fifth gear I blew a tire, got all caddy wompus and tagged a tree with my bike and it sent me into a wood vortex smashing the tree. BOOM.
