Whips are a necessity of life in the dunes. There's just no getting around it, so you might as well deal, right? But there has to be a cooler alternative than the triangle swatch of safety orange that everyone is running. So we set out to find the most palatable of the flags and mounts available.
Breaking a whip, whether due to a crash, an errantly swung foot while mounting up or your big butt sliding back too far in the saddle, has always been a hassle. These whip mounts not only look slick but aim to make the transition from repairing your whip to riding as short as possible. Every time we thought we had found a whip mount that was a good solution, another came along that offered even easier operation.

In an effort to make whip-changing easy, Razorback Designs offers these machined aluminum mounts, which allow loosening the whip by flipping the lever. Drilling the mount bolt through would make broken whips easier to remove by allowing the stub to fall through the bottom.
