For those who did not know, our good buddy Derek Guetter experienced a horrible crash during warm up for the Nuclear Cowboyz show that travels across the country. Although Derek has faced a difficult circumstance, he is doing well and seems anxious to get at it again. He sent us a letter explaining what happened and letting us know how he is doing. Read below.
Thanks,

Well it sucks to inform you, but I had yet another bad crash last Saturday that took me into surgery this past weekend. We were in Tacoma WA for week #12 of Nuclear Cowboyz. Friday's show went off without and hitch, but during Saturdays warm up I messed up on a flip. I knew as soon as I left the ramp it wasn't going to make it, and the next thing I knew I was on the ground gasping for air. I broke my ankle in 3 places, broke the lower tib, lower fib, and shattering my talus bone. Also cracked a few ribs, but that is not so much a big problem.
Just wanted to say thanks to you all that have helped me get through this tour, I know what I did wrong and look forward to coming back even stronger! Hope to see you all very soon! Take care."
