ATVR: The team has quite a few sponsors as we can see from all of the logos on the trailer. Which have been the most instrumental in the start of the team?
MC: A lot of my sponsors that I had with Temecula Motorsports just transferred right over, but companies like Maxxis Tires, Roll Design, Elka Shocks and DWT have been really helpful. Roll Design is probably one of the biggest. I've known Doug Roll for almost 20 years and he's supported my efforts for just as long, and I couldn't do this without his support. Guys like Doug or Martin Lamoureux from Elka and Doug Henlein of DWT aren't just sponsors, they're my good friends as well. Having these relationships with my sponsors is a huge help to my team.
Without any of my sponsors, I wouldn't be able to do this. That's why we try to have as factory looking of a pit as possible. Having the trailer wrapped, the custom E-Z Up's out, clean bikes and a clean pit area represent the companies as best as possible.

Even as a team owner, Mike Cafro still battles it out in the Pro class every race.
ATVR: For those up-and-coming riders who dream up being part of a team like yours, what words of advice do you have for them?
MC: Don't just look at your racing finishes. You need to show the whole package in having your bikes look good, sponsor decal placement, being personable on and off the track and being organized. It's not just about going out and winning races. You need to make yourself marketable for potential sponsors. Just be as professional as possible in any situation.
