www.dwtracing.com
The leader in sport ATV wheels has just taken the market to a whole new level with this new kit. DWT has been making some of the best wheels for ATV riders and has decided to help them out by making an affordable race wheel kit. The kit comes complete with 2 front Rok-Out front wheels, 2 Ultimate G2 rear wheels, rear wheel mud cover and a DWT Racing hat all for a price below $500. That price is much easier on the wallet than purchasing a full set of the company's previous Shamrock beadlock wheels.
TCX
Pro 2 Off Road Boot
www.tcxboots.com
The two most recent boots we have tested in the magazine have been from the same company and left huge smiles on our faces. The only downside of those boots was the price margin that was over $400. Just before the Dealer Expo, in the middle of a struggling economy, another leading boot company chose to increase their prices on their top of the line model by 30%. The TCX Pro 2 boot is their top of the line model and still has an affordable price tag at $359.99. This boot features their TCX torsion control system which gives excellent ankle support while allowing your foot to pivot very similar to another top of the line boot we love. Additional features of the boot are a removable/washable inner booty, compound rubber sole and aluminum adjustable quick-release buckle system to snugly fit the boots to your leg. We got to try these on first hand and were quite happy with how they felt, so look in the near future for an in depth testing.
ITP Tires
Baja Cross 8 Ply Tires
www.itptires.com
It's no secret that we like ITP tires since you've seen them grace many of the builds we have done over the last year or two. ITP has seen what kind of abuse UTV and SxS owners have given their tires over all kinds of terrain, and came up with the new Baja Cross tire for those who ride in the harshest Baja conditions. The tires feature an 8-ply rating, extended-life rubber compound and overlapping tread pattern to provide a smooth ride and slow wear characteristics. One other feature these tires have is a super deep rim guard that offers the best wheel lip protection of any tire on the market. If you need a tough tire, these might be exactly what you're looking for.
Maxxis Tires
Bill Ballance Tires
www.maxxis.com
It's pretty much a fact that GNCC racer Bill Ballance is one of if not the best racer to ever pilot an ATV. It only made sense that Maxxis Tires would lean on Ballance for his experience and expertise while designing there latest sport treads. Named after the man himself, Maxxis released what could possibly be the best sport tire ever made. Maxxis reps assured us that this tire hooks up better than you could dream, but allows it to easily break loose for sliding those corners. We can't wait to find out for ourselves, so keep those eyes pealed for a review soon.
Tire Johnny
Tire Foam Insert
www.gbcmotorsports.com
If you often experience flat tires when you ride or race, Tire Johnny just may be a low cost fix to your problem. Over the past few years, Tire Balls have saved thousands of riders from flats and work phenomenally, but can be a bit pricey for the average rider. For approximately $500, the Tire Johnny foam insert slides right into your tire before it's mounted. Slide your tire on your rim and add a little air, and you can roll flat free. One of the other main advantages to the Tire Johnny is that it is easy to install and maintain. We'll be grabbing ourselves a Tire Johnny before long for a little rock pounding testing. Stay tuned.
Rigid Industries
40 Inch LED Light Bar
www.rigidindustries.com
Turn night into day, or at least that's what Rigid Industries has accomplished with their amazing new 40 inch LED light bar. First off, this light system is absolutely indestructible as we viewed a video of it being dragged across a parking lot behind a truck and filled with a cartridge full of ammunition. It also has three modes, a flood mode, a spot light mode or both at the same time. If I could of counted all of the lights packed into this well crafted bar, I would have no doubt gone blind. You'll for sure be seeing this hot item installed on our upcoming Kawasaki Teryx 750 build. Keep an eye out for it.
ODI Grips
www.odigrips.com

The ODI Lock-on grips come complete with two grips, four clamps, four screws and two snap caps. Snap Caps snap securely into place before the outer clamps are tightened in order to close off the otherwise exposed bar ends. In addition to the silver clamps that had come standard, clamp colors that are now available include, graphite, black, blue, red, green, purple, gold and orange. And best of all, grip glue is not required.
