Adding to its already-impressive lineup of sport quads, Yamaha has introduced a quartet of special-edition (SE) models to please those looking for a little extra flash and flair in their ATV. Outfitted with a wide array of visual enhancements, the SE-model quads feature blue-tinted headlights, unique frame colors and graphic treatments including painted hubs and shocks.
We witnessed the unveiling of the 2005 SE models at the world-famous Imperial Sand Dunes (aka Glamis), where we caught up with recently annointed Yamaha factory racer Kory Ellis. Instead of riding in a freight-train formation, we snuck off and played hooky while Ellis searched for the epic jumps that make Glamis legendary.
