Honda 400EX - Honda

Revamped models are aplenty at Honda, with the midsize Foreman being the only new variety from big red this year. The existing Foreman line has also been revised with a mixture of new chassis, engines and bodywork. The popular 400EX has received a face-lift, albeit a minor one, and now carries a very 450R look.

Kawasaki
Kawasaki is bringing out the big guns, beginning with the Brute Force 750 4x4 and continuing with the release of the Brute Force 650 4x4 (formerly known as the old-school Prairie 650). The 700 Prairie has also received a boost with the introduction of fuel injection (the carb version is also still available). Interestingly, both the Bayou 300 2x4 and 4x4 have been discontinued, as has the long-in-the-tooth Mojave 250.

Kymco
A new player in the market, Kymco has a variety of small-bore utilityesque and sport-oriented Taiwanese ATVs. These midpriced models come with a lot of bang for the buck, though; each has an automatic CVT tranny, and certain models have digital displays-a feature usually reserved for higher-price units.

Polaris
Three distinct new models grace the '05 Polaris lineup: the Sportsman 800 Twin EFI, the entry-level Phoenix sportster and the Sportsman 700 MV (military vehicle). In addition to the new models, the existing line of Sportsman machines has been heavily revamped. New styling, suspension and the like have been tweaked. The Predator has also seen its fair share of massaging, most notably the addition of reverse gear!
