During our visits to the Hatfield-McCoy Trail system, we at ATVR have been impressed with the quality of the trails and the guide services available. We wanted all our readers to have a good excuse to come out and experience this wonderful trail system for themselves.
Come ride with us!
We have negotiated a reduced rate for the 3-7 day permit and guide services. We're going to ride three days on three different trails. Local guides will be provided and they will be organizing the riders into two basic groups, one for the faster riders, and one for those that want a more leisurely ride.
Dates
Friday October 22
We will be starting in the Historic town of Matewan. The day's ride will begin with all the quads lining up on the Main Street of town for a group picture. So be there, and you just might find yourself and your buddies in the magazine! The ride will be on beautiful Buffalo Mountain Trail starting in Matewan and going to the Reverend Compton Trailhead and back.
Saturday October 23
We will be moving today's ride to the Dingess Rum Trail, near Logan. Starting at the Bear Wallow Trailhead this should be a great day of riding!
Sunday October 24
We will be exploring the new trail, Pinnacle Creek that just opened this year. The ride will start at the Castle Rock Trailhead. This is one of the most scenic trails for the fall colors, so be sure to make this one!
Cost
Cost is $60.00 for the User Permit and the guide services.
