H-Bomb Films Nominated For 2 Xtremey's
It's awards season, the time of the year when the Oscars of the extreme sports world are announced, and once again H-Bomb Films is back on the list. With the release of National Born Killers and Huevos 10 last year, H-Bomb has almost guaranteed itself a win in the ATV Film category in 2008. Good luck to Wes Miller and his crew in their attempt to secure an eighth consecutive win in this category.
Special Edition YFZ450 And Raptor 700 Models Released
How do you make a good thing even better? Just ask the people at Yamaha because they have it down to a science. They've taken two of their most popular sport ATV models, the YFZ450 and Raptor 700, and released special-edition packages. The two machines already come equipped with great engines and feature great suspension with fully adjustable front and rear shocks that possess high- and low-speed compression damping.
What sets the SE machines apart from the standard models are the GYTR black front bumper and rear grab bar, aluminum heel guards and extra durable graphic kits. The YFZ450 is offered in midnight blue and white plastic, while the Raptor 700 has a vivid red painted frame and its black plastic is accented with a red metallic tribal flame graphic kit. These trick-looking units are currently available at your local Yamaha dealer with pricing on the YFZ450 at $7649 and the Raptor 700 at $7999.
Team KTM Makes A Statement At GNCC Opener
In Team KTM's first year of production-class racing, its riders Taylor Kiser and Adam McGill showed that the new 525 XC was definitely a contender. Kiser, who came out of the first turn of the Florida opener in third position, briefly led the race and at the end of the day settled for a fourth-place finish behind the 2007 GNCC Pro Champion Bill Ballance. Shortly behind him came McGill to round out the top five.
"This is a great way to start the season," team manager Tim Farr stated. "It was nice to lead a few laps and then have both of our riders finish inside the top five. We will continue to improve as a team and look forward to being on the podium soon."
